As I count down to the world cup, I will be uploading some football images I shot on the streets of Lagos and Ibadan, Showcasing the immense talents that emerge from the African soil. Some make it to the big stage and others don't.

As it was said on CNN during a report on African football, they reported some of the best talents emerge from west Africa, hence the reason west Africa has the highest number of participants amongst the African countries in this year's world cup.

From the streets of Lagos to Accra to Yaounde to Abidjan etc, you will find better Drogbas, and more skilful and rugged Essiens. But as faith will have it, only a few will be lucky to cross the Atlantic on to the big stage. As the world cup is coming to home soil, lets celebrate and enjoy it, making Africa proud. As they say, it may be a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME.
